Aunt Nuan is an elderly person who spent 15 years in the Chiang Mai women’s prison but never lost her hope and faith with the support of Joan Eubank who visited her faithfully for over 10 years. When she came out of prison she was able to find work as a caregiver for the elderly. However, she has a daughter who suffers from mental illness and a granddaughter who has a difficult family life and Aunt Nuan tries to support them as best she can. The foundation therefore provides some support for her monthly expenses. To help ease the burden of expenses and improve the quality of life of Auntie Nuan’s family.
