The book “BORN FREE and EQUAL” — for children along the border
On December 9, 2019, the Panrak Foundation published the book “BORN FREE and EQUAL” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (1949). This book conveys valuable content about human rights Illustrated by artist Mong Mong Teng, it was translated into five languages and distributed to schools along the Thai-Burmese border.
This book not only provides knowledge but also empowers children to recognize their own worth and that of others. The Panrak Foundation, in collaboration with artists and field staff, is determined to distribute this book to students in each area.
We invite everyone to join us in this project.
You can donate 300–350 baht, or any amount you can afford to help print and distribute a new generation of books filled with powerful stories and illustrations from Mong Mong Teng to children who lack access to these materials.
